Neon Green to Brown?????

So i have a small piece of I beleive to be an Acro. When I first got it, it was a bright neon green color. Since then it has slowly turned to strictly a brownish color. Great ployp extension just lost its color. And sorry I don't have anything that will take a good pic of it. I have it pretty high in the tank under 2 150W MH's and 2 96W PC's. And is sitting in a high flow area. What gives?

It is adjusting to your lighting. It will color up but it will take time.

Ok well that makes sense, because I have started to notice 2 small spots on the top where is has turned green again.
