    IPad

I finally got a chance to really play with an iPad, and I liked it so much I bought one. Anyway, what are some good iPad apps? I have an iPod touch, so I have most of those ones on here.

Netflix is my #1 app. not sure if I want to get a sling box for watching my Direct TV, but that would be another nice one to have.

I wish I knew you were gonna get one. I have two 32g iPads that I am getting ready to sell or $300 each so I can buy the new ones.

I cant imagine them being much faster than the old ones. Facetime is the biggest thing. My wife and I use facetime on our Iphones but the picture is so small. The new one is thinner and weighs 1.3 lbs instead of a whopping 1.5 lbs. I have the 32 gig wi-fi models. When I bought them I could not use them for work so I didn't get the 3g model. Now it is compatible with my work so I will get a 3g model which will allow me to get rid of the LAN card for my laptop. I have 6 full length movies, about 100 songs and about 100 photos along with about 50 apps and have never come close to filling the space. I also have the apple cases for them which are about $45 each when purchased seperatly.

It's not like the iPads extremely thick though. And 1.5lbs is almost nothing. I have notebooks in my backpack that weigh more than this.

DirecTV will eventually allow access to your shows on your DVR, via thier iPad app. Supposed to happen this year, but I don't know if it will be OTA, or just over WIFI.
I use the MLB app almost everyday. It's 15 a season, but you can listen to every game, and for $99 you can watch out of market games. it's probably one of the best apps out there.
