I believe "to get the macros at distance, a telephoto and extension tubes may be the answer...."

I have a set of tubes on order. Can't wait to try them out!

with a 75-300mm lens and wireless external flash is there anyway through tubes or other equipment to decrease my distance from the tank as i can take clear photos at the distance with a tripod but due to the telephoto lens even at a high stop increases blur as the lens is rated at 4 feet any advice thanks im using my external zoom flash at 1-2 feet with great results due to lighting at focal distance am in general trying to increase res of said cropped and enhanced photos

    sony a-700
    fm56 flash
    18-55mm
    75-300mm
