They only strange thing is that my Red Goniporia grew a ton since I left, it seems to be one of the only things in the tank that was completely uneffected, even my Xenia and toadstool looked like crap.

Well I haven't shown any updated pictures of my tank lately and everything has been slowly recovering since I went out of town in Oct. and came back to a near disaster because I made the mistake of letting someone else take care of my tank. everything is starting to look a lot better so I thought I would post some updates, so here ya go

Dude your tank is looking awesome. I love that Flower Pot with blue centers.

very nice, you have a heck of a nice start for sure! I love the mix of corals, and the polyp extention tells me they are all very happy.
    I give you an A.

Horrida it is, believe it or not I got it at the frag swap in Oct. from Will. It's a real deep purple with green polyps and it's bright green on growing areas. It's a really nice piece, that is now pieces. I don't like the plugs that Premier uses so after having it a while to get it acclimated I tried to cut the legs off the plug so that I could get it to lay flat. As soon as I cut the plastic it fragged itself into what you see now , I think that it will be more interesting in the long run now.

    Thanks for all the complements

I got this at the frag swap as well from Will. It has really been doing good in my tank so far and has nearly doubled in size. I believe Rex got one as well but he told me at the meeting it got lost in his tank somewhere.

    Chris,

That Pachyseris that I got at the last meeting is almost completely colored up to a nice green from the brown that it was. I really hope it ends up looking as good as the one at Aquamart. I will take a picture of it and post it tomorrow.

Amazing how only a few tanks out there can keep goniopora alive and have such great polyp extension..........Something you are doing is what they need, if only we could pinpoint what it is

Isn't that the truth. I have heard so many horror stories about Goni's and I was reluctant to try it at first. From what I read the red ones seem to do much better than the greens and purples though. I give mine a lot more flow than most though and Will told me that they actually like flow, so far so good. I have about 45-50x turnover in my tank and it sways back and forth really well even though it's at the bottom of the tank. Will had one in the T5 tank at Aquamart that has done pretty well but it never really has good polyp extension on it. If anyone ever really pinpoints what makes them do well it will help a lot of people.
