I can't wait to host you guys this Sunday. For anyone that wants to see it, I'll do a quick demo on the laser as well. If anyone has kids or a wife that likes horses, we have two of those as well that they can pet. My 9 year old son would also help entertain your kiddos.

To make it easier for everyone to find my house, here is what it looks like from the street:

I ask that you do not park in the red areas of this image, any where else is fine:

Looking forward to it! I will be bringing my wife and two kids... the kids would really like to see your horses and want to know if they can bring some carrots to feed them? I can bring soda's and cups again as well.

Sounds good everyone. I will bring utensils, plates and condiments. I won’t have have the Frag tank set up. I’ve had some issues and don’t have time to get it all together. But that should give plenty of time for the demos. Hope to see everyone there.

See everyone in a couple of hours.

Don't forget your test kits for those that agreed to bring them for the demo.

Thanks coming over everyone, it was a real good time. Kirby, that's a nice home for the SCMAS placard!

Here are the results from the test kit comparisons that we did:

    Alkalinity
    Hanna Checker: 9.24 dKH
    Red Sea Pro: 8.4 dKH
    Salifert: 9.6 dKH

    Calcium
    Red Sea Pro: 310 ppm
    Salifert: 370 ppm
    Giesemann: 390 ppm

    Magnesium
    Red Sea Pro: 1440 ppm
    Salifert: 1365 ppm

Hopefully everyone enjoyed the laser demo. I think the club name tags turned out nice, but I realize I should have put our forum names on them as well :

And a big thanks to Doyle and Kirby for passing on their knowledge of acrylic building. I'm pretty happy with out the accumulation box turned out:

Box looked like it turned out pretty good. How well did the bottom end up going on?
