    My new 40B

After two years of having gone without a tank to bring me peace of mind and some tranquility into my life, I started a new build. I have an idea on corals, inverts and fish already. So here is the run down....

    Aqueon 40 Breeder
    Reef Octopus Classic 100
    2x AI Prime's on 18" holders
    2x RW-8 wavemakers
    Finnex 100w digital heater
    40# Fiji Pink
    30# Reef Saver Rock
    RedSea Coral Pro salt

After having filled the tank I added some Purple Helix and Probiod Start-up to the tank to add bacteria and Coralline Algea to help jump start the cycle. But will keep updating on how well the Purple Helix helps populate the Coralline on the bare rocks. But here is a pic almost half filled. Once it clears up I'll get a better picture of the tank.

Recent updates to the build is a Reef Angel plus, salinity expansion, BRS co2 scubber, CDX Media and airline tubing run to the outside of the house. pH is staying stable right now at 7.8-7.9 during the day and a low of 7.6 at night. Calcium, all and magnesium are all within the Red Sea Mixed reef readings. Probably going to get a canister filter and cut out a window for macro and chemi-pure in one of the chambers.

So an update on the CDX media.....it's kept my pH stable between 8.2-8.35 during the day and 7.9-8.0 at night. After a month of use I thought I was going to have to change it out but it's only used up half way. But that's because it's pulling fresh air I believe.....as running it with the air intake in the house the media changed color real quick after 36hrs changing color in about 1/6th of the media. Got a Cloud WiFi attachment and loving the real time readings while at work when sitting at my desk doing paperwork, work orders and parts orders.....

I saw the picture on my phone and it looked like a guitar amp at first look. I thought you sold the breeder to get an amp!
