    My new 29 biocube

Decided to start my own build thread, though I haven't done much. I picked up this cube in Denver a few days ago, kind of gutted and no working lights.

I decided to try adding a Mars aqua led that I had laying around. I just gutted the hood and then cut into it using a hole saw for the rounded corners and an old skill jigsaw for the lines. I was afraid of heat so I filled it and left it for a day and the water temperature dropped to about 62. It's been two more days with the lights constantly on 100% and it doesn't seem hot at all yet.

I plan on drilling a few more holes in the top and adding rubber grommets to keep the heat out for the summer as a preventative measure.

Plan on getting all new stuff for it, media basket, refugium light, skimmer etc to get her going in the next few weeks
