    My new 80 gallon build

So after a break i am now back and i hope i am able to do this better this time around. This was my first attempt at building a stand and everything so let me knwo what you think

used 2x4's to create the shell for the stand

I skinned the stand with birch plywood so i would not have to worry about having to sand the wood like crazy.

I picture of some of the equipment i have gotten so far

I cut out the doors for the stand

i debated on wither or not to seal this area for hte sump i decided to seal it and give it a completely flat area

I ended up getting a Vertex Illumina 260 as my light fixture i got a killer deal on it i couldnt pass up

Finished all the wood working on the stand added molding and it was ready for staining

Finished product all i need to do is buy the foam for the tank to sit on and and cut out the back corner for the overflow.

As far as coral goes it will be a mixed reef were i want SPS and a few LPS she wants the zoas and the flower pots and basically anything that moves in the flow lol. As far as fish we will have a few clown fish, few fire fish, mandarin, lawnmower blenny, melanurus wrasse and after that we will need to see what other fish will be good in that community.
