Thanks, did not mean to hijack your thread. lol I'll have to do a lot more research on venting fish rooms and in wall tanks.

No problem, yea do some research for sure. You have the advantage of it being in your garage so it gives you alot of options that you wouldn't have in an interior room.

That sucks, yea they are just heating the room up and sucking electricity. You should look at one of those ERV units if it becomes a long term problem in there. They make them for indoor swimming pools too so I would think they work well. They are a pretty passive system from what I have gathered and don't use much energy, just food for thought long term.

Updates..... I have been busy in the tank room and have made progress for sure with alot of stuff and best news of all is the tank will be here next Friday for a sat (28th)install. I may need some hands if anyone is available for an hour or so.

I got all the moulding up for the baseboard and the stand is in there but not in place or leveled yet, im doing that on Thursday. I just got done wiring up the thermostats and relay setup I made to control the exhaust and recirculating fans. You can also see I'm starting to gather up goodies as well, more pictures to come on that later. Best of all I got the ceiling speakers all set up and installed a week ago so now I have tunes for my work!

Updates should get more and more frequent now that I'm done with the damn woodwork... For now anyway. I'm getting closer but it's still going to be a bit of a journey yet for sure!

Sweet thanks. I will let you know next week if I will need help. I would like to get 8 people to help just so we have plenty as setting it on the stand could be a little tricky without enough people.

Yeah for sure. I get off at 5:30 if you can't find enough hands let me know. My selfish side hopes you can only find 7 so I don't miss out on all the fun

Did you do all the basement work yourself?

No just the woodwork, paint, some electrical, and I still have to do the tile. It would have just taken me too long to get it done if I did everything and it's taking long enough as it is!

Well I'm completely ready for the tank now, dont pay attention to my sad neglected tank in the background.... Looks worse than it is lol. Got the stand top on, stand is completely level all directions, and I got the foam cut for the top. I still need to do some more shims around the bottom but I want some more weight on the stand first. I have the cart all setup and ready to wheel the tank in. Can't wait until it gets here.
