    Crash and 125g System Rebirth

2016 was rough. After losing majority of fish due to ich. Then my tank crashed and lost all my corals on both the 55g and 95g. Being a newbie to the hobby, I was to close calling it quits but something keeps pulling me back. So here is the 125g System Rebirth. Also working on the 55g so more to come on that.

Many things learned, from calcium, alkanity, and magnesium balance. Keeping the right water parameters, temp and salinity to keep corals happy. Learned the ups and down of saltwater tanks. From flooding the living room and office room. Finding more fish dead after a short vacation. Aiptasia and more ich outbreak. Extracting bucket full of coral skeletons. The list goes on and on and on.

But there is that ultimate reward when you see all your corals happy and completely open. Then the clowns hosting nems and fish schooling. Finally getting the right parameters and keeping things happy. More things to come. Hope you enjoy the minute video. Special thanks to JimG, Hooked, Jonathan, Murfman, Howard24, and Joe, you guys keep the hobby a fun one to have.

It can be a frustrating/expensive hobby but at the same time it can also be soothing & rewarding. I think all of us in the hobby for some time have experienced our own ups/downs. Glad to hear your being positive about your experiences & still excited about moving forward.

I once saw a forklift lift a crate of forks. And it was way to literal for me.
