    Anyone here know their macro aglae? Is this Haliptlon sp.? (smooth leaf kelp)

    Pretty sure one of the live rocks I ordered has some haliptlon sp. growing on it. In about 2 months now it's grown to a whopping 1", but it's the only algae I've found that looks even remotely close. When I try to get a photo they always look terrible.

    This is about the best I could get and show the growth.

    It looks like a dark red feather, but the tips of the plant fluoresce bright orange under UV light.

    I'll try and get a decent photo tonight, looked through each of the algae types on that link murfman, but none of them seemed to really match.
