    My future Office tank

    Tank: Innovative Marine 10
    Stock return pump
    Stock SKY light
    Neotherm heater
    Upgraded media basket

I started this tank for my office about a month ago. I went with Glossostigma dry seeds, ADA Amozonia aqua soil and some choice rocks.
It started out simple enough; add substrate, plant seeds, let grow. It's turning into a little infatuation.
So far it's been a dry start for 3 weeks and it's been growing very well so I decided to start a thread. I'll likely have this tank for years since 1. It's tiny and easy to move and 2. It will be virtually self sustaining in the future OR 3. It fails miserably and 1&2 no longer matter hahaha.

    Pics to follow.

....and alot more. It's been 1 month now and growth is exponential. The plan is to let grow for 3-4 more weeks then add pressurized co2 and flood the tank. Somewhere in there I'll take it to my office.

They're all aquatic plants and between my overpowered light and the fact I'll be adding co2 they should be ok.

It gives the plants a chance to take root and fill in a bit before flooding. The downside is that sometimes the plants will melt a bit right after flooding as they adjust. They tend to grow back fairly quickly though.

Yup, it's the excess co2 in the air that grows them so fast. Just enough water goes in at the beginning to set the soil then the tank gets plastic wrap to trap it.

I took a video just because I'm so impressed with the growth.

Nice! That looks like a great carpet in that tank. Now you just have to add some shrimp!
