    KLAS basement farm

6 of these bad boys cut down to fit in a doorway reduces them to about 260g each. Waiting till we get moved to buy the 50g Rubbermaid stock tanks to use as sumps. Each tote will have a KLAS Aquatics custom chaeto reactor attached, separate skimmer, gfo/carbon reactor. I will not be running UV for the most part since it will have few inhabitants of the fishy kind. Each tote will be run off of an internal pump like a dc6000.

But realistically I won't know the cost of them until I build my units and can see average cost

one wall in the basement can easily hold an 8ft aquarium, thinking 8'L x 3'W x 2'T or something along those lines, maybe 4'W to make it easy to build. If I do the 4'W it would come to around 450g roughly. Sounds like a fun project and thanks to a great idea from Just_Tim, I would like to make a plywood sump as the entire underside of the tank to make up another 450ish gallons.

this is the epoxy sealer that will be used on the tank and sump

this is the fiberglass cloth used for all corners and there are places to order larger sections of the fiberglass cloth so that I may do the entire inside of the tank with it.
