My venture back into salt Jebo 35ish

This build has been in the works for quite a while now. I've been piecing together equipment, rock and all the other fun stuff that goes into a reef tank. It started with a Jebo 375 that Thana brought home from Denver. We first thought that we would be storing it until we got a bigger place. Nope. It has found a spot between living and dining rooms. I have modified the set up a bit and plan to do more modifying\diy tweaks to make it better. This is what it looked like before I started playing.

I have added an overflow to the corner where the pump hangs down. It's a diy overflow made using a diy router table. I'll be replacing the pump soon but it works for now.

Some of the things going on the tank.

I found my live rock on Amazon labeled as fiji Tulane. Uncured but the price was right. It was a bit of a gamble since there were no reviews and very few photos to go by. I won! This rock looks amazing in my tank and the 50lbs is just enough. I let it cure for a bit and once my ammonia levels dropped I added the sand and started playing. Ok, I was playing with scapes as it was curing. I think I've got it set up how it will stay, at least for now.

FTS with 3 slightly different angles.

I am still plotting how to modify the hood to replace the cfls with leds but that will be another thread. Possibly another diy.

Thanks. I'm liking that it looks good even from the back.

I left space between the back glass and rock so critters have more room to move around the rock.

This tank has an odd set up. It came with a wet\dry top filter system. I've converted it to a two part system. One tray for mechanical filtration, the other for a rubble pipe/pod fuge.

Hey thanks, that gives me an idea. I'm sick of algae growing on my powerheads and have been thinking of putting something over them to shade them from the light. So I could put a tray over the powerheads with cheato in them and run the overflow through the tray. Kills a couple birds with one stone.
