    I'm lost HELP! ! !

I bought this tank and setup with sump/fuge for an unreal deal! This is my first venture in saltwater/reef systems and I'm lost with this lighting. I know nothing about it, how to control it, if it's complete, or anything else, is there somebody in the Pueblo area that might be able to come look at it with me and explain what I've got here and what I need to do?

Those appear to be very high output (VHO) fluorescents. There is a reflector inside each bulb. From what I can see, it looks like two are mounted facing up instead of down.

I don't know if they still sell the bulbs, but if I remember correctly most fluorescents need to be replaced every 9 months or so due to the deterioration of the phosphor and spectrum. Metal halides (MH) have a similar replacement schedule. For a fish-only tank they may still be ok, but for any kind of corals you will ultimately want something like LEDs, or even MH, which some people still prefer.
Northernmost SPS aquarium in the US.

Thanks, they are T12's and VHO. I have purchased LED's so I'm getting rid of these. I appreciate your help.
