I was unable to get measurements today I'll try to make it into the shop tomorrow. The employee said she was pretty sure it was a 75 though

75 Gallon. I forgot the measurements I took from under this beast the other night but I am sure that will fit.

When/where can I pick it up from you?

You can pick up anytime, it is in Canon City about 45 min south of CO Springs. You could always pick up at the meeting or I could deliver it to you as well for an even 100$

I am in no hurry to complete this build so the November meeting would be good for me. I just need to read the forum to find out when/where it is.

Have you considered an external return pump? Dart or Dolphin?

I call my sump a dump too sometimes, just depends on how much fish poop is in it!

    Murf,
I was going by a list that JJ had given me when I picked up the tank. Does it matter for a 200G whether it's external or internal. I just assumed with a 90/75G Sump there would be enough room for it???

External pump will sit outside the sump and suck through a bulkhead to return to your main tank. I was just asking as a Dart puts out 3200 GPH at 0 head. Mine puts about 900 GPH back into the tank, after the height and 90s and length of pipe is figured in.

I didn't realize there was that much GPH loss due to distance/pipe angle. I would assume that would mean don't buy/expect a 2000GPH pump if you need 1500GPH into the tank?

There are head loss and friction loss calculators out there that allow you to get a close idea to it.
