I made you read this build

This is my Deep Sea Aquatics 225g tank build. (72.5" x 27.5" x 27.5") A few of my buddies from work came over and helped me get the tank into the basement tonight. Having the suction cups were invaluable. Thank you Doyle for letting me be the first to give them a try.

That is a great looking tank. I really like those dimensions; excited to see this come together.

Wow, two gyres are going to be way too much flow, IMO!

I will have them alternating and set at around 60%. I will fine tune them as needed.

I can tell you that running mine, in an 8' tank, 100% for 12 hours then 60% for 12 allows the detritus to collect in certain spots for removal. Those who have seen it working are amazed at the flow, even at the far end of the tank.

    Sweet. Love new build threads.

I think the gyres turned to the right setting might be the perfect flow for a tank. With the flow oattern bashing into each other he will be creating a chaotic pattern and allow corals to recieve flow from every direction. If it is to much you shoukd be able to sell it quickly anyways. Nice shopping list for sure

I am going to hit up the plumbing this weekend. The bulkheads that came with the tank were not what i needed. I ordered some new ones that should be here on Friday.
