Most can but all are capable of fighting. I have two rainbows that didn't come from the same mother that are constantly on top of each have other.

Finally set up refugium and anemone tank. Also have been playing with lights alot. Changed layout about 10 times until I was totally satisfied. Piping underneath changed for better access to equipment.Since I'm in the process of refinishing basement I will be running piping through ceiling for ato and water changes. Back wall behind tank will also be finished to match tank.

Been doing a little work on system. Packed 10 lbs of stuff in a 5 lb box. Added backup heater control. Upgraded skimmer. Changed out reactor. Added auto doser. Built algae scrubber. Refugium turned into seahorse tank. Changed light and added some coral for color. Macro algae seem to like light also. Removed some rock from display. Added some livestock and corals. Have frag/nem tank going good. Wish camera took better pictures of display tanks. Might have to invest in a good camera.

Looks like we have a closet DIYer. Awesome job. How long have you been running bio pellets?

I think it's been around 8 or 9 months. Not 100% sold on them which is why i put in algae scrubber. A few people said they ran both so figured I'd give it a shot.

After months of my wife saying I have a skimmer fetish ,she brings this home. Gotta love a woman that brings home skimmers. Skimmer fetish might be true. First pic is by a 5 gallon bucket just for reference. Fits nice and snug in skimmer chamber. It's almost identical in dimensions to an asm g4.

Also should have installed an algae scrubber from the beginning. These things kick ***. Hard to believe how much i take off of it weekly.

We're having a fire tonight and it reminded me I've forgotten to post this pic. Cold nights are the best. I can watch the fire, fish tank, or tv.

Just figured I'd show progress of tank.
Also picked up a black banded cat shark. Will be starting a new build soon to get him out of reef tank before it gets too big.

Shark tank or pond is going to be around 500 gallons. My oldest son moved out and his old room will house it. Already opened wall up so you will be able to see reef and shark tank at same time. It also has a room behind it to place a sump and all my fish stuff. Here's a couple skimmers I picked up for it. One is an aqua c ev400 and the other is a mrc mr3. Already have all the pumps I should need and added extra electrical to deal with demands of tank. Just need to collect some things to deal with humidity and I'll start the build. Will start a new thread when I start. Probably sometime after Christmas. Not sure how I was able to convince my wife to let me do this except she's really cool.
