    Fragging Palys

So I have a big colony of some palys. The problem is that many arent attached to anything and all I can see is the stalk. How can I safely frag these as they are growing out of control.

Just slice them with a sharp razor and glue them to something.

Are you going to do this "in-tank" style?

Last time I fragged palys I was a little nervous. Eye protection, gloves, laid newspaper down so I didn't have to wipe up much.

Make sure you use a lot of glue as those boogers like to come off easy since they aren't attached to any rock or plug really. As suggested use a razor and eye protection and you'll be just fine.

Gloves gloves gloves, wash everything with soap and water when you're done, wear glasses, have fun! I lay down paper town as it absorbs the excess water fairly easy making frags kinda easier to glue IMHO

To quote Doyle during a playful conversation at least a year ago, " an old boot and a rusty flathead screwdriver". I laughed about that for a couple weeks every time it came back to mind.

Awesome. That's one of those things that comes into your mind at church or during a job interview when they ask a serious question and you break down laughing. Naturally the person doing the interview or the preacher is not a reef hobbiest and there is no explaining it.
