    Help hammer coral frag brown slime!

    Hey guys picked up this frag a week ago and since then it has a cloudy white covering over the entire body and the head has brown slime coming from it and it looks as if one head has already died...help!!!!

    I've had that on frogspawn. Increase flow to blow the crap off and keep it from spreading. Lost the heads that were already infected but it kept it from spreading.

    Brown Jelly disease, luckily it is the branching variety, if it was a wall hammer to the chance of survival would be less in my opinion. Usually the onset is pretty fast, how was it packed for you to bring home, any chance the polyp could of rubbed against the bag to irritate it? Or irritated it trying to mount it in your tank? There are a bunch of great articles online pertaining to B.J.D. possible treatments and the like. Hopefully the other branches do well for you.
