Bug ID please for my 40 breeder

Went to clean out the filters on my 40 breeder. Inside there were dozens of white cocoon looking things on the walls and attached to the filters were swimming bugs.

I was staring at my tank yesterday and I saw one of these go running around my rockwork and into a hole. Now I know what it is. Awesome.
