Not sure of the calculations, but would you see that much head pressure in a 1/4" line with 75 psi pushing it though? Just an assumption of the water pressure or if you have added a booster pump to the setup.

    Day 2
Had to go back to the home depot for some random things and decided to pick up some insulation for the shared walls to the basement. I want to keep the cold out of thr fishroom and the noise in

    Day 2
Started on the shelving unit today with a very sturdy design to support 3 tanks with a future combined weight of 800lbs give or take. Notice that there is no floor platform (this will come in with the sump and then attached, as I am making a type of custom drainage ditch for the system).

    Day 2
Pkumbed the overfliw boxes from the sump together with t's. The plumbing was designed to go stright back using 90's so that they will be connected to the main return pump. This plumbing will serve us in 2 ways
    1. It will allow for the tank to overflow (if ever needed) and run directly to the drainage at the fishroom floor.

2.it will allow the main return pump to run directly ti the drainage for future water changes.

Thus is the platform that the sump will sit on with a little twis un the back. You can see in the second pic that there is a notch framed into the stand to allow the drain lines to sit .5" from the ground. I'm going with a high gloss paint and then we will move ut into place and anchor it to the rest of the stand

    Day 2
Stand is built and is waiting to be painted and caulked for a waterproof seal to ensure we didnt have any water unless its in a tank.

Insulation is finished along the filtration wall and the wall that is 5 feet behind it, where the display tank will be

P.s. the ato tank and rodi unit are just tucked away there for now

    Day 2
We had a plumber come in to run us the lines from over the hot water heater and into the walls. This will give us hot and cold water to the laundry sink. We got a great plumber and he welded the fixtures together quick and right. Thanks kyle

I used to run my rodi waste out of my basement up the siding and into my eaves. Never had a problem with back flow. It ended up being about 15 feet vertical
