I would like to get some reccomendations for tank of the month for November.

Starting in January, we will have a monthly tank of the month. Then we will have a tank of the year. The winners of the month will go head-to-head to determine the tank of the year.

Start Nominating. If you are nominated. Please post pictures of your tank and discuss your setup.

So far this is who has been nominated and who has submitted pics:

    Codeman01- Pics
    Murfman- No Pics
    Joe- No Pics
    Reeflextion- No Pics
    jlaurence32- No Pics
    J&A Timberlake- No Pics

Please provide Pics if you have been nominated and would like to be in the running for Tank of the Month....

I think that the tanks that are nominated the owner should post some pics for everyone to see. Then go from there.

+1. Good call Cody. Definitely one of the sweetest tanks I've seen. And the most in one household lol.

Well I wanted to keep the tank itself clean from cluttering pumps and equipment so there are no pumps/powerheads in the tank. All I have are the 2 dual locklines for water flow coming off of my pond master 6600 GPH return pump. It's a huge return and I can only run it about half open Lighting consists of 4x120w chinese LED's, 48" all blue evo slim, and one of Chris' (Reefkoi's) 12" blue moonlight strips. As far as my sump goes, I like to call it my "Frankenstein", it is 3x33g tanks drilled and plumbed together in my basement. The 2 outer tanks have filter socks in the first chamber, the 2nd chamber has a simple filter pad and some live rock, 3rd chamber is full of live rock and chaeto. Then they both overflow into the center tank onto more filter pad and then through my carbon and "filter pad wall". Finally, the water is run through the skimmer and then returned to the tank. I was running a calc reactor before the skimmer, but apparently my tank is not using enough calc to justify it so I took it out (Josh Sexton picked it up). Pretty simple....? As far as plumbing goes, I used spa tubing going to the sumps and clear poly tubing for the return. I just wanted to keep it simple. I never thought I could do it on my own but apparently I could..lol
