got that in the garage picked it up on sale at lowes a few weeks back never thought of it as a dip tho
That is very interesting. I have only used the Coral dip. Maybe should try this.
I always dip with Tropic Marin Coral Cure and if they are SPS, some interceptor powder. Just might have to try this too.

I've heard of this remedy but could not find the Bayer in my search. I'll have to keep looking though I recently bought a coral on a rock and dipped with coral dip twice. I thought I got all the sneaky pests off but two days later I was feeding my fish when a hugh bristle worm appeared from the rock so the coral dip was ineffective in that regard. I had to remove the coral, dip it again and then use a pair of tweezers to get ten of them from under and throughout the rock.
Bayer dip works very well and is generally very easy on the coral. One thing to remember with dips though, especially Bayer; never dip a rock with a coral on it and then put it in your tank, even after rinsing it. Bayer is extremely toxic to copepods, amphipods, shrimp, ect. And doesn't take much to kill them. They Bayer will be absorbed into the rock some no matter what you do. It's always best to remove the coral from rocks and even frag plugs after dipping and re-glue them to a new one when possible to avoid contamination and egg transfer of baddies. Even doing dips are not 100% effective against hitchhikers and qt of corals is the best, and will prevent fish disease entry as well.
On a separate note, why is everyone so opposed to bristleworms? I mean I get they are ugly, suck to be stung by, ect, but they are very good as part of a balanced CUC in my opinion and they serve their purpose.
