the long awaited 125 build thread

Ladies and Gentleman the long awaited 125 build thread i will talk about it here and then post all the pics afterwards once i'm done talking about it

we started collecting, building, and testing equipment in CO and would now like to thank all the folks in colo sprgs and denver that contributed, sold and provided equipment. we would also like to thanks those who shared knowledge and experience build a tank like this. anyways we built the canopy in co with marc (git er done) i didn't really tank pics of this while building but i took them of the final product. we then moved on to the stand we built and tested it in co and then took it apart to move to el paso which most of you know we recently did. we also drilled the tank in co along with helping cody (codeman01) drill his awesome sump setup. After we had collected the new sump from a couple at the denver swap meet, the new frag tank from good ole reefkoi, and the new skimmer from marc we finally had all of our new equipment needed/wanted for our new tank. anyways enough for this post to be continued on the next one. and heres some pics

I agree, I have always wanted to drill my rocks to connect them and make some arches.

It looks great. You thought it out very well and did an awesome job. How well does the lifter arm on the canopy work for you? I'm thinking of putting them on my canopy.

they work pretty good but you might want to get reinforced hinges as those have started to make the canopy lid push up on the hinges causing it to have a gap in the front anyways what my husband did is go to the pick and pull on the end of ventucci and they came off a 94 audi a4 then get 10mm ball mounts from napa for about 15 total and from there its trail and error on where to connect them good luck

One thing I noticed about your frag tank is that the light is pretty low. My Evo 120 is about 30" above the tank bottom. I was bleaching SPS and Zoas were all closed up.
