I've been using the edibility test for a while. I make a small cut then lick it. If I can get back up off the floor within a minute I just go commando. If it takes longer, I glove up.
Don't look here for a comment.

Quick bump and for FYI ness....

Not just the corals you need to watch out for. Been having a lot of "flu like" symptoms lately and real bad asthma attacks out of no where....or so I thought.

Apparently super glue ( cyanoacrylate) causes all these symptoms in 5% of the population and are severely worse for People with asthma. Took me a while to connect the dots but I finally did. For me it didn't matter if I had the windows and front door open with a fan blowing, it still hit me hard.

Be cautious when using super glues and be well ventilated

    Or....

Rock out like I have to now...

i never frag zoas i just irritate them untill they close and put a piece of lr rubble up against the colony and let them spread onto it wait for them to spread to it after i get the desired number of heads i take a razor and slice it in the tank and pull it away and put a new piece of lr rubble in its place i have noticed they spread faster this way

I handled a torch coral, actually not knowing what it was lol. When I initially touched it, it sticked to my hand, took it off and took my hand out of the water...nothing happened. But as soon as my hand hit the saltwater, immediately my hand was on FIRE!!! Definitely not guna touch one again and definitely will use safety equipment in the future no matter what!

My frogspawn tears my fingers up when I move it. The sting burns and leaves an extreme itch/burn feeling and breaks out
