uh for lighting i am using 6 36 in t5s 2 blue atinics 2 super daylights and 2 purple atincs. also looking into par 38s for the future . for a filter i am using a canister filter. with hopes of upgrading to a fuge in the future. as of right now all of my current is produced by powerheads. the list for livestock is 1 sailfintang ,2 bar gobies,1 royal gramma,1 goby firefish,1 seargant major damsel,3-3 stripe damsels,2 yellow and blue damsels,1 black edge ocelaris,1 lawnmower blenny ,2 small kenya trees,1 small yellow polyp colony, and three softies that i dont have a name for, 1 condylactis aneome, 1 peprmint shrimp,40 various types of hermits and snails. so my future plans are as i said to upgrade my lights to led i.e par 38's. and to add on a fuge. as far as livestock goes ive got just about all the fish i want . but i do want more inverts oramental shrimp mostly the big place i feel that im lacking is soft corals.

it's ok Alex. Just keep up on water changes and you'll be fine. I have come accross several people that don't use skimmers and just keep up on water changes to eliminate any ammonia build up from fish poo.

I ran a tank without one, it worked, but it was definitely much more work than my tanks now. You can do a DIY Skimmer for really cheap.

I have a skimmer that Im not using but you would still need a pump for it. as well as a sump. It was actually on a 120. Needs a mag12

just let me know. I was just looking it up and it actually will use a rio 3100 or a mag 9. I guess the 12 that was on it was overkill.
