I have a 29 Biocube. It does not have any lighting upgrades yet. I was looking into adding some LEDs to it. The kit I was looking at is 6 LED Actinic from Rapid LED link below. I was wondering everyones opioion on it. Like good or bad idea, if anyones seen it before. Ive look at some stuff on youtube where people added LEDs to there BC and I like it link below also.

Thanks,
Aaron

I would make sure you can control the blues and whites separately I get lost looking at my tank with just the blues on. LED's are the best thing I ever did for my tank. Are you going to add these to your existing lights or just run the LED's? If just the LED's you might need something with a few more LED's.

I just wanted to add the 6 actinic LEDs to the existing lights no whites. I'm currently running the standard PC 10K and actinic in my BC. If I go with the 6 LED actinic should I take the PC actinic out and add another 10K or something? Or maybe instead of just the actinic LEDs maybe try to add 3 whites and 3 blues? I'm making this my first LED project, so when we move and I get to set up some of my bigger tanks I can have a understanding of LEDs. And I'm able to put together bigger LED fixtures for them. If you look at the video of the guy adding 3 of these blue LEDs to his BC, the way the tank shimmers is amazing to me. More or less thats what I'm going for, the look. At least for now.
