got a pair of tilefish from neptunes the other day and boy are they beauties!

my book gives them a score of 2 for survivability though i dont see why. they do hide alot but as soon as food hits the water they eat, and they eat alot too.

theyre an obvious pair. the slightly bigger one is alot more active thats for sure. ive noticed the smaller one, wich im assuming is female, wont get farther than a few inches from the larger. they sometimes touch while maintaining themselves in the water column,its unusual to see fish do that, even a pair.

thats it exactly RJ. came home for lunch and they were out, gave em some pe mysis again and they gobbled it up
