I found a ASM Mini G brand new for $80. Is this a good deal? How good is this skimmer. I do not like my Seaclone I bought years ago for my biocube...How do they compare? I do not have a lot of reference on skimmers so help from some pros would help!

You can get one new for that price. The mini-g is way better than a seaclone but 55g is about the largest I would put a mini-g on. It just chokes under high load. I have one in my garage that I tried to use on a 72.

kmauger1,

I like the avatar! Looks very serene and peaceful! Would make a good wallpaper! Do you have it in higher res or have a title so I could look it up?

I found it a long time ago I forget what I was searching for but the name of the file was blyfish. It does suck the file is not a higher format, I tried to use it as my background but no luck.

Would you be willing to get rid of the one in your garage? The one I found was new, but I love better deals....and of course helping people clean out their garages!!!
