You can disable avitars in your control pannel. I had to disble avitars because I too browse from work. I would suggest just disabling them. Since no avitars on this board show nudity, and show the same thing you can see on tv at any give time its not really fair to censor others. I completely understand your concern, but you already have the tools available.

Wow I wish I would have known of that before I told the others to F off.:christof:

JK. That is a useful tool I didn't know about.

What makes our club better than RC is that we don't take their Nazi standpoint of sensorship when it comes to mild cursing and an occasional thong shot and everyone has policed themselves very well since we started.

I hope the avatar tool works for you.:biggrinjester:

Thats the thing I like about this forum as well. Its very give and take. I am lucky to only participate on forums that have this attitude. I moderate on Coloradoracing.net and we are pretty lenient. I also turn off avitars at work for that forum as well. We have a lot more members, and many of them are young, so we have guys push the boundaries from time to time. Each time moderators discuss it on a case by case basis.

:biggrinjester:

Ryan had a run-in with the RC Nazi's today. I have to say it was pretty pathetic, and it looks like most have tight-*******s there. You cant even give a guy a harmless jab without getting the RC quote of conduct. Oh, and dont dare call them Nazi's because you might offend someone that knew someone that had a friend who had a great-grandfather that had a buddy that was in WWII.
Eh...Im glad we have this club here. I like to be able to be myself and have others tell the difference between when I am joking and when I am truly being a *****.
Glad to see we can disable the avatars...not that I will ever have the need to use it. But, for the members that do browse at work it is AWESOME:thumbsup:

Because the corporate world has become so politically correct and intolerant that even images on computer screens can be seen as offensive by over-sensitive coworkers. People can be disciplined or fired over that stuff because the company would be held liable if they didn't prohibit it and/or take action for violations.

It's called Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. As the former owner of a business with an all-female staff and a female-only membership exceeding 500 women, let's just say it was sink or swim.
