How much do you want to spend? If you want cheap the nova extreme pro is decent you would just need to replace their crappy free lamps asap. If you got the money ATI makes a hell of a t5 fixture. When I get home I will post links to both.

ATI 36" long fixture with 6 lamps ATI lamps included $739.00.
RG gives you a choice of any lamps you want I think the best mix would be 3 Blue Plus lamps, 1 Aquablue Special, 1 Procolor, and 1 GE 6500k.

Current Nova Aqua Extreme pro 36" 6 lamp $323.00.

The lamps that come with this thing suck in terms of color and par output but they would likely buy you some time 'till you ordered some ATI lamps from ReefGeek or AquariumSpecialty.
Six 36" ATI lamps would run you around $132 to $150 with shipping.

Best fixtures = ATI

Real good fixtures = Aquactinics

Good fixtures = Tek and Nova Extreme Pro

The reflectors are everything. Individual reflectors are better than one single reflector for all the bulbs. You can double or triple the light output depending on the reflectors. The bulbs are the next most important. The best bulb brands are ATI, Giesemann and UVL.

Just don't forget, T5's aren't as good as halides but they're the next best thing.

The Tek doesn't have a fan compared to the Nova Extreme Pro which does and heat effects light output and lamp longevity. But, Tek reflectors are better. It's a toss up. Better resale on the Tek.
