So, I've always used IO with very good results I believe. I got a great deal on Reef Crystals, so I figured I would give it a try. I have heard mixed results though, and am a little hesitant to switch. Any thoughts and/or experiences?

I've used pretty much all the salts and the only difference I saw was having to dose less with th higher quality salts. Tropic Marin is was always amazing, but Red Sea coral pro made my corals smile. They loved than one. With reef crystals I just have to dose a little more often.

Reef crystals for me. Have thought about switching to fritz, but more of a pain to find locally in the event of an emergency.

I've used four different kinds and am using Reef Crystals again now. I can't tell any difference other than the amount of clay left in my mixing barrels. There are some that leave more residue than others, but not so much of a difference that I would pay more for one over the other. Right now my best deal is on Reef Crystals.

I used reef crystals for a long time and really liked it. Never had any issues.

I got my last two boxes from stone aquatics and I think they are having a sale on it this weekend. I want to say that aquatic art sells it too

I would still use that too. We need another supplier. It was a few bucks cheaper than reef crystals. I think it had a little less clay residue. The rectangular buckets were nice too!

I think Fritz RPM is as close as I have found to the old Aquamedic german salt. The aquamedic salt was by far my favorite in terms of how easily it mixed. I am back to using ReefCrystals but its only a 28g jbj. When I get to the point I start a basement build, I will be switching to Fritz RPM most likely.
