Hey guys, just thought this was a cool thing everyone would enjoy seeing. Last night I noticed a million little fry looking things swimming around inside my 28g biocube. Upon further inspection they turned out to be Strawberry crab larvae in the free swimming stage! I talked to Joe and Paul (bloodhound) last night and this is the conclusion we came to. Plus they are the only pair of crabs I have inside the system. I've had the crabs since February of last year and both are larger than a 50 cent piece. They are awesome critters to have in my experience.

This morning all the larvae were gone or hidden. This doesn't surprise me, but none the less, it was cool to see.

I apologize for the video quality. They seemed to be attracted to the light.

The best close up I got without busting out the macro lens.

To me, one of the greatest joys of reefing is seeing things replicate and grow. The hatches are the most exiting.

That's really cool to see. Would be interesting to see if any will actually make it.

Thanks guys! So as it stands now very few, if any survived (Shocker, I know...). The parents have been hanging out in the open the past couple days so I'm wondering what that is about.
