Which ones do you use? How often do you change and how do you wash?

Any felt sock I found a deal on is what I used. Changed them every 2-3 days, washed with a cup of bleach and a sprinkle of borax, ran one extra rinse cycle in the washer, let air dry for a couple days before returning to use.

I got some ones used for filtering biodiesel. I got 50 micron ones that have to be changed out pretty much daily. I have some other ones that are 200 micron I pretty much never use now. I wash them with nothing but vinegar one time, then baking soda the next time. Occasionally I'll use bleach and run them an extra cycle. I got some small ones from Amazon.

I was using 200 micron felt for awhile, but got tired of washing them every few days. I bought 300 micron nylon, and love them. Doesn't get the real small stuff, but I only clean them every few weeks. And they are breeze to clean, unlike the felt ones...lol
