I don't know about the rest of you, but I love this stuff. Probably because I like planted tanks best and it's carried over to salt. We all know chaetomorpha and caulerpa which seem to be the biggest favorites. People with tangs might have ogo and/or ulva. They're useful for nitrogen uptake and protecting pods so they can breed. Some are palatable to us, especially with sweet rice vinegar and toasted sesame (ogo and ulva seaweed salad! omnomnomnomnom). Some are really pretty, enough to rival coral. Yep. Pretty AND functional. I have a patch of blue scroll growing in the front of my 5g. It's brown/green with a blue iridescence that's very eye-catching. Too bad it doesn't photograph well :(

Here's (http://marineplantbook.com/marinebookindex.htm) an excellent resource with references to care requirements and generalized nitrogen uptake. Does anyone else have anything other than the basic 'fuge pack?
