In the process of setting up my new tank, I had the thought of using LR for my cycle. It can be very expensive so the thought came is it safe and a good idea to use 50/50 or 75/25 live rock to dry rock or do I need to use all LR?

75/25 works fine. It all becomes live in the end. Dr Tims and Micro Bacter make bacteria additives that help going through cycling as well.

I have been reading about dipping and QT any new coral added to my tank. I jab l have yet to add live rock or anything else, do I need to dip my live rock when adding them to a non established tank?
