Ladies and Gents,

My name is Mehul, I'm a recent transplant to Pueblo, Colorado. I used to have a reef tank a few years ago but grad school and life took that away. I'm however going to withdrawals and have decided to keep a nano to feed my addiction. Herein starts my build thread.

All I have so far are an ada 18g drilled with a sump, a doser, a refractometer I picked up at the garage sale and a small tunze skimmer.

Here is what I need.

maxijet powerheads
return pump
ro/di unit
live rock
salifert test kits
recommendations for a light (considering the prime vs radion)
and help plumbing!

I do want to keep some basic sps like a stags. Any advice/input would be appreciated. If you have any of the above and looking to get rid of it, please send me a message!

Its nice to be in Colorado, and meet some of you at the garage sale!

It was great to meet you at the garage sale! Very excited to see your build pictures and there are plenty of SPS gurus here that will enjoy another person on their side of the great coral debate: what is better sps or zoas lol.

Unfortunately, the tank developed a leak from the overflow. Turns out the washer wasn't tight enough and my floors were flooded. I'm a medical resident and still haven't had the time to clean this up. So I have decided to defer it for another year till I'm done with residency.

Will have to get rid of a few things or just store them. I have basically taken 20% off everything that I paid for.

Spectra pure ro/di 5 stage with extra membrane and cartridge and tubing 150
ecotech vortex mp10 ews, bought it off eBay and still haven't opened the box 150
ghl independent doser 4 pump. 250
Sicce 2.0 pump 50 basically brand new

I'm in Pueblo to and a stay at home mom. If you decide to put the tank up and need some help while your doing your residency let me know and I'd be happy to help. I could do basic maintenance beyond that I'm still learning 😊
