Looking for lighting options for 300 gallon softy/FOWLR.

DO NOT WANT HALIDES.

*preferably looking for led but will consider t5 lighting

Open to ideas for 4', 5', or 6" t5's

I would like the lights to be strong enough for softies.

Let me know what you have. Thanks.

Im assuming you still want at least a 10,000K right? I know that you can find T-8 bulbs in basic 10k but I've only seen them in 24"

Have you talked to Doyl? We had him make us a set and we'll try that out with t5s

Great option, sage uses t8 and the fish tanks always bring out amazing colors on the fish

Will you have a canopy on the tank? Is so, just do a retro fit 4 or 6 bulb t5 kit.

Ill try and a nswer all these at once.

This is for the 300 dd, so that everyone knows.

Not a bad option for t8's but i dont want to swap out 10-12 bulbs every 8 months.

I can do the retrofit but wanted to see what was available from the club first.

No thanks for ati. To much money for just a fowlr tank.

The doyle conversation will take place once i know what direction i want to go with.

The tank will more than likely never get brighter then 14-18k and will probably have a 20k spectrum the majority of the day.

Thanks for your guys input. Keep them coming
