They dont Make reef 12" t5 bulbs so you would have to use normal bulbs

Not true.

I gurantee you could make a cool retrofit out of two bio cube tops. They come in 10 and 12" bulbs. A little creativity and doyle is all you would need

Yes it is a real question I was on brs last night and the smallest kits they make are 2 ft kits so I Google a bit didn't find much then I started wondering if I were to e en be able to make the 1 ft t5's is there even t5 bulbs for that?

That seems to be a difficult bulb to find. I've seen the mini lamps that use the 12" bulbs.

T5 is the bulb diameter. You can get t5s in NO( normal output) HO (high output) VHO (very high output)

Now whether or not you can find them in actinic or 10000k is a different story

I thought vho stood for variable high output?
