Starts out at 1 but it goes to 0 after a min or so

I just ordered a full rebuild for mine. Membrane, carbon and sediment.

It might depend on what the color was when you started. If you are getting 0 TDS, you should be fine, but it is always a good idea to have replacements around.

ya true I might hold out for when it gets higher or a constant 1tds

I have a full set of filters and resin waiting. Ok, well, it kind of looks at me every time I turn on the system and says (Hey moron, didn't you noticed the TDI is a little High?) Now my biggest question is when to change my RO membranes. I know they are supposed to last several years, but I have them in series with one another and i'm not sure how well the flush is doing because of it.
