As some of you know this is Doyles-Hooked last year that he is allowed to be a president based on the guidlines. The guidelines allows us to vote on an extension/longer terms with a 2/3rds vote.

"I would like to start a motion to extend the terms of a member that is serving on the board of directors until he/she steps down from their position or is replaced via a vote in the annual election with no maximum term legnth."

We will need some one else to 2nd the nomination. If there is a second, the BoD will start another thread with a voting poll that will be released to members to vote on with a cutoff date.

Thanks for reading. If you have a negative opinion or questions please feel free to pm me.

Do you mean a negative opinion about this or anything in general? I'm down with this, but I have a scroll of world issues I have a negative opinion on. How big is your inbox?

I think the other order of business is to change when terms begin. Currently a boards' term is Dec-Nov. It would make more sense to have them go January-December (calendar year). Otherwise a new board would be tasked with planning a Christmas party in 2 weeks or less. Also has anyone thought of alternating terms. 2 year terms for the board. Alternating terms helps to not have a completely brand new board all at once.

I doubt this would ever happen but if it did I feel it would be for a good reason. Since it is based on vote, if the entire board was voted out and an entire new board voted in, it would take the majority of members of the club to really hate the current board to accomplish this.

I vote for no term LIMITS but keeping the 2 year terms as they are now with voting as it is now. This is different from no maximum term length as it still allows the position to be voted on every 2 years.

also did we ever vote on extending term length to 2 years so voting would be every other year as opposed to annually?

Well stated. That is what i was implying. Vote every two years instead of one. With no maximum amount of terms
