This is how my acan looks now after the peppermint shrimp incident. Some parts of it are getting better. Is it OK to leave it like this or should I try to remove the dead parts? If I remove some how should I do it? http://i1379.photobucket.com/albums/ah130/rawlins06/IMG_20141207_093605541_HDR_zpscynfryho.jpg (http://s1379.photobucket.com/user/rawlins06/media/IMG_20141207_093605541_HDR_zpscynfryho.jpg.html) http://i1379.photobucket.com/albums/ah130/rawlins06/IMG_20141207_093539733_HDR_zps2bsqvl6h.jpg (http://s1379.photobucket.com/user/rawlins06/media/IMG_20141207_093539733_HDR_zps2bsqvl6h.jpg.html)

I would recommend taking it out and dipping it in coral rx or something of the like. Help prevent or remove any bacteria that may have resulted from the damage but otherwise I say leave it

I have seachem reef dip disinfectant. Is that as good? http://www.seachem.com/Products/product_pages/ReefDip.html

That should work. Feeding it a pellet every few days might help it too. I've read articles about people feeding LPS and having some pretty bad ones come back.

I'd leave it. Skeleton is already browning out and I see no fresh skeleton indicating it's still receding. Let it sit. Perhaps come pick up a few buddies to keep it company and whisper words of encouragement. Lol. J/k, but seriously :)

Last thing you wAnna do is stress it more by taking it out

Bush next month I plan on getting another acan or two and a fishy :) I need like small $20 fags though. Minimal red-orange. The more pink, purple, blue and or green the better. What's your price for a green clown goby? Maybe a porcelain crab too if you think my 5 gallon can support another.

Prob like $8 foe a green clown goby. Lower prices fish tend to reflect more shipping prices than the higher priced. I might have a super xmas special going now or in the near future. Details may or may not be announced sometime today or tonight or while I'm eating bbq....who knows lol
