I found an Oceanic 210 with stand. Guy wants $550. Is this too much or should I do it.

Reasonable depending on tank and stand condition. You could find better, you could find worse

I'm still waiting on pictures. Is the one overflow a bad thing?

Not really a problem. You don't want massive flow thru your sump anyway. You could make up the flow difference in the display with wavemakers of water pushers.

Two drains is ideal incase one gets blocked, however there are numerous options to mitigate that.

since you know that the bottom is not tempered you can easily add one. CPR makes amazing overflows. As Hooked said though you do not want a TON of water through the sump. Also if you could get creative and put in a closed loop with one of the Dart pumps that Murf is selling for $100 and then not really even need wave makers. If you dont buy it send me the info lol. The 210g oceanic is 7ft long right? I should have purchased the one from JJ when he was selling as I really like the 7ft long 24"x24" tanks

I liked the one I bought from JJ. Just was too big to go where I wanted it too. The price is a little high. Considering what I paid for mine from JJ.

I had a 220 gallon close to those dimensions and I liked the size. I still have the canopy I built for it. If it doesn't have a canopy and want to check out the one I have, let me know.

Which store is that?

That's not the $550 tank. This is a turn key tank. Rock, Argonite, mag-18 pump, re-circ skimmer, koralias, furniture, lights.

That guy bailed on me this morning. He said that the big tank he was upgrading to fell through.

this level of quality fits the level of quality of sump you have so to me it all looks great! lol now the bank account on the other hand must be a different story. Kmellon bought a 125g with the same stand and canopy as this tank and paid a pretty penny for it because of the pergola stand and canopy.
