Like the title says, How should I do this? I've tried the biggest algae magnet I could find here in Colorado, and it still isn't doing anything on the algae. Please Help!

I used a metal blade scraper from petsmart. Gotta put your hand in the tank, but it takes care of all of it.

I use one too, but what about spots on the tank you can't reach? Such as with mine the bottom half of the tank glass?

Seascape sells a cleaning tool that has a blade on it and can reach the bottom and keep you hands out of the tank. Think Kent makes them.

you haven't tried the Great White ;-) Takes two men and a boy to move that thing.

put a dobie pad on the inside magnet. works wonders and for only $1.99 for 2, can't beat the effectiveness. just cut the end, pull out the sponge and slide you magnet in and presto, algea no more. I use this on my acrylic and not a scratch

I don't take the sponge out that way, It just takes a man and a boy vs two and a boy!!!!

I second Bush's idea.. he's the one who gave the idea to me. Works like a charm and doesn't scratch the crap out of my acrylic.

Hey murf, I need another idea. I tried the dobie pad, and it was too thick. For some reason my 150g's tank glass is REALLY thick and the magnet that I use right now can barely stay on. Any more ideas?
