What brand of monitor would you recommend? Where can I buy it?

I use a Milwaukee. Key with the monitors is keeping the probes wet. Buying a used one, you might end up replacing the probe. Bulk Reef Supply sells them. They are a sponsor.

There is one that comes with the Reef Angel controller. The controller is $220 and comes with an 8 outlet power strip, temp probe, PH probe, 2 float switches for it's built in ATO function. You can use it as a wave controller using a socket for each powerhead. By the time you buy the parts for the functions separately you could have saved some money. It isn't for everybody, but I like it.

I like the PH monitor on the Apex Neptune as well.

I have a pinpoint ph monitor does not have a probe though. Asking $20 for the monitor itself. I think you can get new probes for $20-30
