View Full Version : does anyone use ATI T5 bulbs ?

trying to see if their as good as they seem gunna be needing new bulbs soon so thinking about trying these out any feed back would be great and i cant switch to led haha my pocket cant afford them right now even though i want them lol

The best bulbs I've ever used. You won't go to leds after you see the growth from t5 ATI bulbs. The color is sweet.

Yeah, the best I agree. Growth and color is amazing. I used ATI for two years straight and loved them. I'm trying Geismann now and not liking them as much... Though, the last batch of ATI I had there were two bulbs with black spots. One went away, the other burned out after two months.

sweet what kind of bulb combo are u guys using thats what im trying to figure out right now how i want to mix and match them lol

2 aquablue special and two white bulbs. Coral plus or something.

yeah i believe its coral plus i was thinking about running the same combo read good reviews on the coral plus ones that they grow out your corals really good thanks man

If you like the blue look then get aquablue special. Sweet bulbs and more par then coral plus. It took me forever to find the right combo lol.

For a whiter 10k look I use:
3 Blue Plus = about 22,000k
2 Aquablue Special= about 14,000k
1 GE Daylight = 6500k

For a bluer 17k look I use:
4 Blue Plus
2 Aquablue Special

The trick is in the Blue Plus bulb. Most full actinic bulbs have low par, the Blue Plus isn't full actinic but gives off almost the same deep blue flouresence effect, with super high Par.
