Welcome! To say the least I'm the youngest of the club, 14 haha, and I love this hobby. I've got a 55 and I really wanna upgrade, but like you I'm a little short on my buck ATM. The guys in the club are GREAT! I don't know how I would have lasted this long in the hobby with out them. So welcome! And I'm going to be at the meeting too. It's quite easy to find me just look for the smallest person there lol!

Welcome Stewart. Feel free to ask questions and visit the members here to check out their systems. Its a good thing to know the size you are interested in starting out with and how much money you have to work with. The tank, stand, lighting, and sump are just the begining. The larger the tank you go with, the more important it will be to have an rodi handy so keep an eye open for a used one or group buy. Have a great time at the meeting. Wish i could be there.
